Theresa Kniaz is a self-taught artist who lives in the Greater Boston area. In 2019 she began developing her artwork full-time through countless hours of research, reading, and daily practice. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and has a background in classical ballet.

Farewell to summer and my summery work, and welcome to fall with its inspiring colors and invigorating crisp air. Here’s a last look at some work I did during summer (as I store it away) and some views of the autumn and a little embroidery project I completed.

A few months ago I became very interested in relief sculptures like this one (designed by Alfred Waterhouse.) I discovered that the Natural History Museum in London has many beautiful carvings designed by Waterhouse who made it like a cathedral to nature.
